This is a beautiful app, simple and clean. Shows me the day in ways I never thought of before. Just beautiful and well worth the small cost.

This app is great for tracking all the phases of dawn, day, twilight, and night. Love being able to set an alarm for magic hour each evening. The only modification I would love to see is a broadening of the app to cover moon rise and set as well.
As a photographer and filmmaker, I can not live without this app for planning my shoots. Great idea, great design.
Ive used this app for over a year. The alarms are great for letting me know when I should be paying attention to the sky.
This app looks fantastic at first glance! Unfortunately, it does not do what I want it to do. If your phone is muted (or in do not disturb mode), alarms will not sound. On the in-app FAQ they explain that this is because of Apple rules, which every other alarm app I have gotten must be blatantly ignoring. I keep my phone muted at all times and if I were to use this app for my alarm, I would have to switch settings twice a day. Some people may be able to do that, but I am not one of them. At some point, I am bound to forget and miss my alarm or get in trouble for having my phone ring during class. I wish that they had been transparent about this massive feature gap in the app-store description, especially as this is a pricier app. I would never have purchased if I had known. If you intend to use this app for other purposes or never mute your phone, go for it!
I love the sunset alarm. And the look of the app is just so pretty and peaceful.
Love being able to see the various parts of the day for various locations. I dont use it as an alarm - I need a super loud alarm. Acts as advertised & easy to use. A neighbor plays Taps every night and Sol is the best way to alert me for the best time to be listening.
This is one of my go to apps. However, it needs to be updated to support higher resolution screens and notifications should be added to cover the alarm issue when the app is not in foreground. I would also like to see the ability to set notifications that are relative to events, say -0:45 relative to Golden Hour so I can travel to location to get my best photo.
As soon as I touch the wheel, the date moves forward a day. Fix this bug, please. Relatively well designed app, though.
Very pleasing visually. Limited functionality re alarms and setting manual location.
That is in need of an update/optimizations for the newer versions of iOS. (currently 9.1) Trying to do anything with the alarms is so s l o w for example.
We have hens. They go perch in their coop at sunset. We close them in to keep raccoons from killing them. Go out there too early, and it’s a hassle to talk them into their coop. Go out too late, and a nocturnal varmint might be paying them a deadly visit. Regular alarms don’t work for this purpose— I needed a sunset alarm and found this as soon as I searched for one. Thank you!
Works great. Very helpful for when you want to take pictures at certain times of the day.
sometimes the alarm does not appear! We wish Add widget & We wish Add stimuli saved in the widget
This app grew on me. I find the graphics compelling but the alerts are why I am writing this. I feel more connected with the day when I know when the sun is rising or when golden hour starts.
Your app is so cool! I often get disconnected from real solar times of day (Im indoors a *lot*), and Sol helps me reconnect to whats happening outside. I recently discovered your lovely sun-synced alarms, so now I get friendly reminders of sunset, sunrise, and solar midnight & noon. :)
I like the information the app provides, but I can not get the alarm portion to work consistently. Read the FAQs and support to no avail.
A universal iOS app would be great
The best way to decide when to wake up and catch a sunrise or sunset
