This app does what I need it to do. I can set a notification with one of the seven in app sounds or use the system default sound. AND I can include my own label to the notification. AND it allows me to choose how much time before or after sunset before being notified (also for Sunrise, Noon, among others). It would be better with more sounds but as is it is my go to app for notifications for pre-sunsets.

It needs a couple refinements and two or three additional features, but still, amazing!

I got this app mostly out of curiosity and ended up using it often. Mostly I use it out of curiosity but Ive found it helpful with photography too. I travel a lot and the Golden Hour times vary from on location to the next. I use this app to find the best light for outdoor photos. Id think pro photographers would find this app helpful in planning outdoor shoots - you can forward to the day of the shoot and see that days time frame for Golden Hour.

Im tracing out the path of the sun on my ceiling. I glued a small mirror on the window sill which reflects a bright dot on my ceiling (on sunny days). At solar noon (the sun is directly overhead), thanks to the alarm feature, I am ready with my pencil to mark the dot on the ceiling. Sure enough, the path is the famous Analemma as seen on old globes. Excellent app!

So, I use this app to schedule my clients according to golden hours. Cant with iOS 8.1.2. Ive force quit the app, reinstalled the app, etc. Still cant use it. No Bueno.

Please update the app, some menus are blank, and the app freezes at times. Overall it is fine, just buggy. On ios 8 5s

This app is great. Set an alarm relative to sunrise to wake and a reminder 8 or 9 hours before that to get ready for bed. They adjust with the sun so youre always in tune with the natural rhythm.

I always keep my mute switch on. Can you please add a setting to sound alarms even with the mute switch on just like the built-in Apple alarms!!!

This thing is awesome. Has every detail, its beautiful, and I absolutely LOVE all the customizable options for the alarms! Just now realized I can zoom in and out on the main view too, so cool! Only suggestion for improvement: I have several alarms setup, and it would be great if I can drag them into a different order, currently it lists in the order I created them and I dont seem to be able to rearrange them in the list. THANK YOU so much for this amazing app, I cant live without it.

While Im very pleased with the app, a few improvements are needed, ASAP! First, wheres landscape mode support? Second, when I need to reference the precise times for both solar & lunar activities, vis-a-vis any geographic location, having the OPTION of viewing ALL of these details in a TABLE, as opposed to the GUI (Graphical User Interface), would be of great value, especially for one, OR MORE, future dates. Yes, displaying the results in an optional table, would be ideal...

I meditate and this app is very useful to check the sunrise and sunset and the timing prior. Awesome loving it. Keep up the good work

Love this app. But I wish that I could set an alarm to go off every day at sunrise instead of setting an alarm for each day of the week. Also the app needs better alarm tones because Im a heavy sleeper and it doesnt wake me up.

Great for keeping track of when the sun is the most intense (solar noon) for avoiding sunburn. Also great for knowing the time of the photographic golden hours.

Im sure this is on me, but I read the FAQs after purchasing... I mute my phone at night and use do not disturb as a fail-safe if I forget to mute. What good is an alarm that wont sound/operate around those other features? I have/use very few apps, and most are free (pandora, delta, etc), spending $3.99 was, in my opinion, a waste.

A useful app for anyone who wants to remain mindful of time, the golden hours of the day, dawn and dusk. If you are looking for a watch that situates public time within the rhythm of the sun, this app does the job. If you want to stop and smell the roses even when roses arent in bloom, you will appreciate this app.

Thank you very much. I use the alarms EVERYDAY because I cant drive after dark. I set the alarm for 35 minutes before sunset to pack up and drive home at that moment. I dont have to be unkind to others by watching my watch and worrying. Great app thank you again.

Very lovely concept, and Im sure the execution was brilliant at the time of its initial release. Now it seems a bit dated (not optimized for iOS8/iPhone 6) and I get a frustrating problem where the date is mislabeled when scanning my current day. Will love for this app to be perfect.

I love the design and function, but this app consumes more of my battery than any other app (via background activity). Theres no way to turn that off and if you turn off cellular data you get annoying notifications whenever you open the app. So should be 5 stars, but this is a deal killer for me.
