Nice design and very useful for hunting, photography or just as a wake-up alarm at sunrise. Im only disappointed that it does not run on my iPod 4G [MC544LL/A] which cant be updated to iOS7, plus the Alarm Sounds are a bit lacking on the harmonious side.
This app is very handy to check sunrise/sunset time everyday.
As a dedicated lover of photography, I use this app often, when I need to take night shots especially. I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, latitude 53N, where summer nights can be rather short—and winter ones, quite long. Very recently have had two occasions where knowing when the blue hour should be was important. Am now 72 and no longer have the stamina to hang around waiting for that just-right light, so the app is a great help—wherever I travel as well. Thank you!
Sleek looks. Good functionality. Simple. Effective. Reliable. For fishing, photography, astronomy, aviation, etc.
Informative.
Very useful and intuitive - great for better understanding earths relationship with sun.
Love it, tells me when the golden hours are wherever I am. Simple, intuitive interface, certainly would be of great help for anyone.
usefull
Tropics, arctic-antarctic lines, time zones, latitudes/longitudes, international date line options with on/off button can be added to this app. But it is certainly useful.
One of my favoriye app in Appstore
Return the old icon with a lens!
What about iPhone 5 support?
Great job!
I tried testing it for sunrise in Oslo, Norway. It came up with 22.12 or 10.12pm! Whether it referred to the local time at mypresent location in the US it did not specify. I wanted a simple way of checking sunset and sunrise. This was a total waste of money! It will be removed from my iPhone immediately. Having to calculate the time myself was definitely not my intention when buying it!
Love being reminded of my chosen ideal times to head outdoors! Thanks for a great app!
Ive been looking for an app that gives me the suns time. Its not easy to calculate! Thanks to the devolopers!
its not a one swipe turn off. i have to unlock my phone, open the app, and wait for a pop up so that i can tap "ok". even if you just open the app, it will not turn off. nobody else can turn it off if your phone is locked, so my loved ones hate this app more than i do. if you leave your phone, you will come back to a drained battery, and anything important like missed calls are lost in several alarm notifications.
While Im very pleased with the app, a few improvements are needed, ASAP! First, wheres landscape mode support? Second, when I need to reference the precise times for both solar & lunar activities, vis-a-vis any geographic location, having the OPTION of viewing ALL of these details in a TABLE, as opposed to the GUI (Graphical User Interface), would be of great value, especially for one, OR MORE, future dates. Yes, displaying the results, even in an optional table, would be ideal...
The golden hour and civil twilight displays as well as the sunset alarm keep this photographer/pilot informed.
